WORLD’S BIGGEST KALAMKARI PAINTING IMAGES IN A BOOK WITH, 110-EPICS, SAMPOORNA RAMAYANA

I, Kachireddy Sivaprasada Reddy, a Kalamkari Artist, started this biggest Kalamkari painting image in the year 2004 and completed it in 2006. This painting was exhibited in many national and international exhibitions of handcraft art and praised by many art-loving people. This painting earned the Limca Book of Records in the year 2007. In this painting, the complete story of Ramayana was depicted in 109 episodes with 13” rounded figures on main borders and made in a single cloth of size 47 Ft x 11 Ft. In the first part of this painting, around 99 episodes are depicted reflecting stories of Maha Bhagawatam. In this painting, Sri Krishna Leelas, Dashavataras, and Sri Mahavishnu Seshapanpu are depicted in the beginning, Srimad Bhagawatgeeta is depicted in the middle and Srirama Pattabishekam is depicted in the end. 07 natural colors such as Black, Red, Brown, Pink, yellow, Indigo Blue & Green are used in the painting. The Kalamkari Artist had undergone many difficulties in painting the biggest art and took 02 years to complete it.
