It is very important to know and understand our identity from the past and present. Questions such as Where did I come from? What is my identity? How I ended up here? Who are my People or kindred brethren? Often strikes a person or community with these questions to understand his/her unique history and pass it on to younger generations. Such is the case with the Anal community, yet God in His divine dispensation used various means to preserve our traditions and its unique identity. Even today, Mr. Anglonghring Langhu in his book entitled, ‘Theological Insights on Exogamy Debate in Anal Naga Tribe‘ gives a lot of answers to the above questions.
