“THE ARCHIVE” | CC School Friends’ Souvenir Volume IV is a non-commercial book like those of other authors. It is published without the intention of promoting sales or gaining financial benefit. It is typically published with the view to reviving the beautiful traditional relationship between the gurus and the shisha. With the motto – “Quest for Guru-Shishya Parampara” this book can help The CC School Friends, one of the most prominent alumni associations in Manipur, extend the beautiful message of the guru-shisha relationship to the generation to come. Readers may not get the real test of literature from this book as it emphasizes how much the alumni love their alma mater and show their respect to those gurus who nurtured them from the very formative stage of their lives. Just at the beginning, one can see the welfare activities performed by the passed-out students for their alma mater and mission inspiration activities that can inspire the young minds to become value-added personalities. The title of the book ‘The Archive’ is suitable, suggestive, and relevant to the contents of the book. The title of the book is a reflection of the author’s perspective of collection of historical records or documents providing information about an institution. It is truely an archive.
